America on 500 dollars a month!

I know that some, maybe all will find it hard to believe but I live quite nicely, in America for $500 a month or less.  I get all my needs met on what most seem to pay for their monthly car payments!
You can do this also, and do many things that you might miss doing. Why even try this at all?  Well, Maybe to explore talents that you want to practice?  Have that great American novel in you and cannot seem to get some breathing air to get to work on it?  Want to learn languages, explore and travel the world maybe? Well they all can be done, others do these things daily why exactly should You not try them also?
By budgeting your money, earning some money, and learning and growing you too can live in America get all you need and try other things than just be another cog in a ship that is on the way down. Bills can be eliminated, and life can go on in a simpler manner until You want more, or to go back to the way things were before.

  Shelter, we all need it no doubt. Well to live on 500 a month or less there are concessions to be made some live in small apartments, or sitting rooms, a junk trailer hauled out on an acre of desert perhaps? Find a roommate, or several?

   If you have things that need to be done, living in some ones, even your parents’ basement maybe something that you might have to consider.
One could live in a truck like I do , as I describe in My e-book   road to freedom I show how I manage to work, eat, sleep, travel and get by for $500 a month and enjoy a lifestyle that some dream about.

    Food, once again people have to get some that’s the facts.  Food can be scavenged, dumpster dived, grown in a guerilla garden, or indoors while on the road, sprouted. Cooking can be simple as eating apple and celery sticks with peanut butter, or maybe solar cooking that works with no fuel, smoke and can be done for free?
   Clothing should be no problem either. It can be picked from dumpsters easily enough, or bought for deep discounts from thrift stores if one is too fancy ,or finds nothing laying around.  Ask around I am sure people have tons of extra clothes that do not fit any more You will be doing Yourself and Them  A favor by taking a few items. No, You will not have to give up the precious cellphone, heck You might just be able to use it to help You in making a living. Things can be bought and sold one line and a profit can be made I do it daily and so do others so why not You too?
     Movies, TV, internet, all can be had on the cheap, or free, so while You may not have the money to go to the movies and eat $10.00 a bag popcorn you can still see movies and shows and heck even eat popcorn if You want to pop some up. Reading on kindle and cheap books, internet games and chess, free music it’s all here for the budget lifer also.

Scrapping can be a great way to make some extra money. I tend to walk a lot , I like the exercise, sun and the air. While I walk I pick up the cans as I go and save them up till I get a respectable amount and  get a better price for the metal, some places require over 20 lbs., some over 40, anyway the idea is to find out the best prices and get them whenever possible.

I go through trash cans at parks and pick up those left in the woods, parking lots, wherever I happen to be .
I like the idea that where ever I go, I can make money, I know it’s just a tiny trickle but mentally it is a great habit to develop. Some days I visualize money just lying on the ground waiting for Me to pick it up and there it is, maybe not dollar bills for sure but pennies add up also.

I know of cities are cracking down on scrappers and requiring licensing also.   I always will find a way to get small amounts of money here and there from this , and I suggest that You find ways to do so also, if You have the time , energy and inclination, scrapping can be a nice little sideline .
